Young artist and designer, based in Southern France, her creations are a great breath of freedom, sharing and inspirations. No lies, her passion extends her being, personality and identity.

Lilibaba is the expression of the creativity which absorbs the richness of the moment from daily life, wide and natural landscapes, and evasion. Continually curious of life, she shares her perceptions and experiences about travels and lifestyle, with an interview -

A few words about Lilibaba ?

It’s my child nickname. From Aladdin, my passion for things from Orient and ethnical cultures. I sign my paintings as Lilibaba for the meaning of my childhood and my personal universe. I am selling my paintings at my mum’s decoration store in Mougins - Envers du Decor where I am also working as an interior Designer.

What are coolest things in life ?

The smell of summer, the silence of early mornings when everybody’s sleeping and the sun is rising, evasion, imagination, earth, landscape, sunsets and traveling. Anything that can inspire me or give me emotion like smile of a child, smells, food, shapes, textures, fabrics. Anything made with passion, photography, dream, music, dancing and above all share inspirations with people share positive vibes.

Favorite city ?

Hard to choose but I would say Cannes where I grew up, and where I am strongly attached by my family, memories, sea and the beauty of some places.

Favorite destination ?

Morocco for the kindness of locals, jewels, carpets, landscapes, heat and it’s not far from home. Discovering traditions, talking to local and Berber people, seeing the sewing of berber carpets, eating and finding typical objects or jewels.

Next destination ?

My dream is still to go to India, Mexico, Argentina, Tibet, Peru (many destinations, you see !) but above all India.

Best tip for traveling ?

Your best sneakers, a camera and discovering your real destination, not the tourist side.

If you could sit next to anyone (dead or alive) on 10 hours flight, who would it be ?

A real Sadhu who would tell me his vision of life even if a sadhu would not take a plane and doesn’t speak my language ! Or my mum, she is my number one inspiration.
